Wire sheath repair

Have a cable where the outer sheath has been damaged and stripped. What’s the best way to repair? Got large plugs on the end so standard heat shrink isn’t an option.

Yep. I sort of laughed the first time i heard if it. Never bought any yet but many times wish I had some.

Its great stuff., takes a while to set but is just like rubber and dont peel off like insulation tape does and it withstands oil etc unlike self amalgamating tape. it also lasts ages, my pot must be a few years old now! comes in red and black!

As long as the inner insulation is fine, I'd just tape it up and slide some split conduit sleeving over the top to make it look nice.

That liquid tape stuff is magic. Heatshrink tape is pretty handy too, but getting it watertight is a bit of an art.
