We're commercial, buying by the blown artic load. If you didn't have an account with a domestic supplier (like Balcas or Land Energy) it's been tougher than we've found it, I beleive, as the importers were all using Siberian pellet.

Re the black pellets, the agent swears they're En+A1. I know Ofgem have widened the goal posts, but I'll be surprised if they've moved them that wide.

I don't think the black pellets actually have coal in them just seem to be advertised for mixing with coal for use in places which have to cut there coal consumption. We have been offered them aswell and looking through the brochure seems like they're just made with offcuts from saw mills and tree cuttings

Just be aware of many scam web sites offering pellets as low prices, we at Manco have had 3 sites removed that were "selling" pellets under our name.
