Does anybody use a WOPA box for foot trimming beef cattle? Are they man enough for the odd mental one?

No they are not very well made, well not for Charolais. I recommend the Kemppi welder on stand by.

Number one over here by a longshot. A hooftrimming box is sonetimes called a wopa box.
You can get them in multiple graditions I think but yeah, pretty much dairy only overhere.

Why would you keep beef cows that need their feet trimmed? There is not enough money in the job to add additional costs by way of having to deal with foot problems in sucklers.
