Workshop / Barn Wanted to Rent by Blacksmith (South West)

Hi All,

I hope it's okay to post this here - feel free to delete if not of course!

I'm looking for a high-access door barn to rent in the South West to run a small forge for blacksmithing.

The reason I need a high-access door ideally, is because I'd also like to use the space to convert a 7.5t horsebox (Merc 814) into a mobile forge (converting horse area into a mobile forge, front keeping as living - For travelling to country shows etc to do Blacksmithing demos).

I trained as a Blacksmith many years ago in Hereford and after some time away from the craft, am back smithing again. I have a gas forge and an old medieval-style coke forge that's mainly used at demos etc, as well as 200a mig, stick, and oxy welding equipment and I'm usually up for helping out if bits & pieces are needed on the farm, in addition to paying rent for the space of course.

Ideal space is anywhere around Bristol, surrounding area - So from the other side of Bath across to Newport over the bridge is fine - and same distance north or south of Bristol (so South Gloucestershire down past Bristol to Weston-S-M way for example.

Basically am happy to travel for the right space, happy to pay rent (of course), and usually up for chipping in when a hand is needed (bits of welding etc).

Again - sorry if this is not the right place to ask, and cheers for your time reading this.

Mike.

Thanks for the reply!

It is a little further than I was looking to travel, but if there's nothing closer that comes up, it may be okay - Do you have something available? (don't want to mess you around though, as ideally looking for something a bit closer to Bristol, but still...)

Thanks again for your reply :)
