Worst, Best Companies, You Have Had The Misfortune To Deal With?

I'll second Scottish Power for their inability to fix a simple issue like refitting a meter in a new drier shed prior to harvest in May, losing the meter somewhere at their Bellshill depot, and not having the means to replace it until November long after harvest was complete. 100+ phone calls, and they were utterly incompetent at resolving the issue until I involved OFGEM, the energy regulator.
I’ll third SSE. Neighbour got a bill in the tens of thousands for a meter that, through various historical infrastructure changes, ended up solely serving a grain store light. They assumed, because of the very low consumption that the analogue meter had been round the clock and attempted to charge accordingly.

BT / Openreach. From a personal (here at home level) and within my buisness (networking / cctv / wifi etc) there is simply no ammount of words I could use in this single post to describe the company. If we or frankly any other buisness was ran like that, we would be bankrupt, and in alot of trouble!

Banking first direct are amazing for private use . In survey after survey always come top in customer satisfaction. Also give a shout to my local NH dealer buy quite a lot of kit from them but the service is first rate . ( Russells)

Awful ,Audi dealers and the suppliers of Starbucks coffee.

For gawds sake you lot are all wrong, all the worst firms mentioned so far are just bit part players.

the worst company to deal with ever is………

red tractor.

Thankyou, I got it in first, THE END

Edit- @Nearly i never even been offered cake by @Dave W so count your self lucky, you must be a much more better important customer🙈 i think he’s still a bit jarred after I put in a warranty claim for £15 worth of drive belts. I only had the machine 3 years at that point so didn’t think it was unreasonable😂😂

The worst people l have found in my sixty five years in farming is the NFU -- MUTUAL and if you are using both may the Lord God help you.
My car and house contents are insured with NFU Mutual andI've always found them very good indeed. There or thereabouts on price, I know where their office is and even recognise the local accents. Bennets, the bike insurers are also very good too

Nfu been great at settling claims but they have gradually lost all my business.renewed home insurance recently and still paying to aviva less than half what I was paying nfu 12/13 years ago.and truck insurance also with a viva this year was also less than half what nfu wanted.I allways call to negotiate but they say they give best price and take it or leave it.

Sometimes i do wonder if its me? like example i phoned my local claas dealer 3 weeks ago, asking for a price to come, change oil on claas mowerconditioner, and show me how to change the blades, answer was leave it with me ill come back to you with a price? Bare in mind ive bought a new claas baler, about 5 years ago and a rake as well, and are on there system?
In my experience if they say "leave it with me i'll get back to you" They want to to P off and not come back. Had it with a local dealership with regards to fixing the combine. Good month before harvest fired her up and found the fan variator wouldnt work. Called up the dealer, leave it with me the combine fixer isnt here at the moment but i'll check with him and get back to you. 2 weeks later not heard anything... getting close to harvest. Ring them up leave it with me. Another week......... Rang them up and said I want to be cutting barley in a week whens this combine getting fixed "Oh we cant do it we have to fix all the ones we've sold first". Went to the other NH dealer (fair way further but worth the drive) was out that week. They also do out of hours callouts and parts, which the closer dealership doesnt (I cant fathom how they get away with that).
