I’ll third SSE. Neighbour got a bill in the tens of thousands for a meter that, through various historical infrastructure changes, ended up solely serving a grain store light. They assumed, because of the very low consumption that the analogue meter had been round the clock and attempted to charge accordingly.I'll second Scottish Power for their inability to fix a simple issue like refitting a meter in a new drier shed prior to harvest in May, losing the meter somewhere at their Bellshill depot, and not having the means to replace it until November long after harvest was complete. 100+ phone calls, and they were utterly incompetent at resolving the issue until I involved OFGEM, the energy regulator.
