Would a 6 cylinder bolt in?

Old Hitachi digger here. It has a 4 cylinder turbo Isuzu 4bd1t engine in it. The engine is gone in it.

I have access to a very good Isuzu 6bb1 straight engine for more or less free. Would this engine ever bolt on or will it be totally different?

You've looked at the bell housing? Engine mounts? Bay space?

Be a longer block and different mountings ,then you've got radiator posistion and oil pump

Think the EX120 was 4 turbo isuzu and the FH120 WAS 6 cylinder Fiat engine, Iveco so assuming the two diggers were the same dimensions would think should be room.

Might not be much assistance buts its as much as i know.
