Nurse made hole with a soldering iron type device 2 weeks ago, accident happened 3 week ago, nail fell off 1 day ago.

lots of swelling and colour over last 3 weeks , but its never been as painful as it could have, luckily it was my right, Im left handed.

in true 'man' style I finished the job I started before stopping to examine the wound, If id gone to Dr sooner I might of kept the nail, nail on next door finger is black and ugly but is stopping on

A man would have got a drill bit out and holed the nail himself , it is a delicate
Operation mind !

That was a stack of straw. 3 kids seen running away from it when it started. Police couldn't be bothered even to turn up!

Police are the same here. A few weeks ago near my sisters house. They spotted a 4x4 up to no good. This was about 2 in the morning driving down a disused railway track that runs beside her two fields. She called the police. Plus two other nearby residents also called the police, so they got three calls within a few minutes.
The follow day a neighbouring property had been burgled. There are also two 24hr police stations in under a three mile radius. Nether of them couldn't be arsed to turn up.

I find a pop rivet ground up to a sharp point and hold it in dome small vice grips and the gas bottles in vice on a low heat to get end of rivet red hot. And quietly scratch at nail till blood squirts out. . Once tried drilling a friends finger with a 1 mill drill bit in pillar drill got a bit too deep and half way through finger. Made him jump.

Your sister should book an appointment with her local MP to discuss, their (the police) dereliction of duty.
