Can’t believe the flippant remarks, nice tyres, waste of feed, poor AD plant,
Christ sake, lucky no one was injured or worse killed,
All large trailer users, have got to get their act together,
@grainboy I pointed out the good tyres because I didn't want to directly accuse speed as the problem, but if you look at the tyres there are few other options. It was a word to the wise, not a simple observation. It was obviously too oblique.

Same problem with us over 3500 acres of straw has gone now as it is crops to feed a couple of A/D plants , Think the contractor chopping the rye has now rolled 4 or 5 trailers in the last few years another one yesterday, Can see them having a very hard form VOSA if they they keep the over sea's cowboys carting
what sea would that be

In all fairness I think it is coming time for regulation like the haulage industry to be brought in for 50k plus tractors and these big trailers and tankers. I see cubs in big 250 300 hp tractors pulling 5000 gallon tankers with not much more than a provisional licence. No hgv test 6 weekly inspections mot or flute all. It's ok untill some one is seriously injured or killed. Over here a water bowser hooked off a tractor and hit a bus and 15 I think people injured. I'd say the paper work trail for maintenance etc would be exceedingly light

No ce plate and all that. Can't see how after that accident and the death in co down how the authorities won't start looking at speeds weights licences and maintenane after all of the above.
