Wreckers!!

We used to have a old chap that used to drive around in a old Reliant Robin van many years ago , for a fair few years he used to swear by putting a couple of paving slab's in the back when we had some snow ,,,,,,,, always remember seeing his Robin after the front wheel had decided it was going to go the way he wanted and he ended up rolling it , he reckoned that he thought these slabs were going to join him in the front for a second or two but luckily for him they went out through the roof ,,,,,,,,,, took it down the local canoe man to get it patched up afterwards😁

Dad had a Peugeot pick up years ago that was about as much use in the snow as an ashtray on a motorbike.
First forecast of snow and he would lay a few tractor front end weights across the load bed. He still got stuck one day, but a neighbour passed in his new Land Rover and offered to push.
Dad gave it some throttle while neighbour heaved and the last thing he saw in his mirror as he roared off was said neighbour face down in the snow being splattered with slush from his rear wheel spin.
He chuckled to himself about that for years.

to somebody collecting scrap farm machinery and there was a bit of an issue!

However, we got it all off and surprisingly little damage done. My Loader was there to not only rescue it, but provide comfort and moral support.

She’ll be a good’n again in no time!

No evidence on site of the bog roll the driver would have needed!

Was there a "meeting without coffee" after that one?

Can you still get a new fibreglass roof for that?

I wouldn't lend the scrap boys anything. First off, you could be assisting in loading things that shouldn't be loaded.....🤫
Second, I learnt my lesson lending them my Sanderson to break up a barge on the beach ( wouldn't be allowed anyway these days for enviro reasons ). 2 slashed tyres, later it was abandoned with the tide fast approaching......managed to get the fitter there in time.....but it was close.:X3:

Not sure. It might end up being a fabricated metal one.
Apparently, there is a man in Herefordshire that has a lot of Matbro spares,
I'm sure @ACEngineering can also help.

I doubt a roof will be found easy but might be wrong.

Early ones had tin roofs anyway I think.
Certainly did on the TR250 powershift anyway.

Glass shouldn't be a problem but 99% sure its slightly curved not flat.

I do have wiper blades in stock and I have 1 original worklight secondhand in good order😂

It a bit odd that machine. It's got carraro axles so early model yet it's got later style stickers and the much later trays on the sides of boom for hoses🤔

Has it had a respray and a boom transplant in the past?

EDIT nope on closer inspection it is a later machine on hurth axles. The look of the wheel hubs was throwing me off.

Still on the original boom!!

Despite the fact that the seat hasn't actually suddenly turned a shade of brown, the owner is looking to replace it with something a little more comfortable.

She is a Speedshift machine.
