Wynn's Diesel cleaner

I have, cant say I really noticed any difference. It has a mix ratio on the bottle. Depends on tractor tank size and how full could be 2 or 3 bottles

Our fitter recommended it to us, we used two full bottles in a nearly empty diesel tank on a linde forklift which we use very little. It cleared up all the smoke and it starts first time.

It's as good as any really, and not too dear. Worth using sometimes I'd say.

Of course no substitute for taking the injectors out and having them tested and re-conditioned and other work.

It would also depend to some degree what additives if any your diesel comes with as to how much difference it makes, although I don't think red is additive heavy.

I was recommended Millers Diesel Power Ecomax rather that Wynns.

Have been using it in my 7.5T and Fergie TEF for a while, think they are less 'smokey' and the emissions form the last 7.5T MOT were lower.

Cant couch for increased MPG as never done a tank to tank test.

I’ve ran my tractor on neat LiquiMoly to flatten out a lumpy idle, certainly made a difference but didn’t quite cure it completely. If I was to do it again I’d have the tractor at operating temp first, then hook it up on the additive (10L), run half through then shut it down and leave it to soak overnight, then run the rest through it and a change of filters to finish.
The Stanadyne additives are supposed to be good as well.

I use Stanadyne and it stops smoke, increases power and the machines use less diesel. It is too dear though and difficult to get in 20l cans, Claas dealers sell it at their usual high prices.
