Welcome to the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show (YAMS) which is held at the York Auction Centre, Murton, York, YO19 5GF

This year YAMS will be held on 8th February 2017

We are pleased to offer this thread open to any exhibitors, to showcase their attendance at the show, or if you would prefer content may be forwarded to [email protected] for inclusion.

In its first year the show, held on the 5th February 2014, had a huge impact on the farming calendar, attracting 100 trade exhibitors and thousands of farmers and visitors.


OPEN FROM 8.30AM TO 4.30PM
It has good access, free parking, free entry, good food, great atmosphere, friendly familiar faces from local dealerships and a huge array of all the latest machinery and equipment for agriculture, horticulture, ground care and forestry.

Bramleys Seed Establishment will be back on stand P3.

On the stand will be the Combi-plus with it is pre loosening legs and the ability to sow fertiliser and oilseed rape in one pass into stubble.

Sow wheat in one pass into a stale seed bed or potato land.

A 3 metre Tool bar will be set up on the stand. Showing how close it couples to the power harrow head stock meaning of only a 100mm movement back of your combination drill. Turn your drill into a combi-plus.

Everyone is welcome for a cup of Yorkshire tea. All TFF members get a FREE up grade to home baked cake with their cup of tea.

[Landy washers]

Landy Pressure Washers are pleased to announce that we will be launching a new hot water PTO pressure washer unit at YAMS 2017. The new machine runs at the same high pressure and volume as our ever popular cold water PTO units but the addition of hot water really adds to the cleaning power. The Hot water PTO machine is completely self-contained, using the tractor PTO to power the pump and a 12v supply from the tractor’s own battery to power the heat exchanger unit which burns 28sec kerosene from the on board fuel tank. All that is required is a water bowser for the machine to draw from through its four metre suction hose. It can be used with one or two lances and also with a drain jetting kit.


At YAMS 2017 in February we will have the machine running to demonstrate the power and versatility of this unique addition to the cleaning market.

BRIAN ROBINSON MACHINERY LTD

Brian Robinson Machinery Ltd were recently presented with the title of Pottinger’s Tillage Dealer of the Year and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s Corporate Partner Award, in recognition of the support of the charity. They will be displaying machinery of interest to both livestock and arable farmers as well as a growing range of forestry products.

Kevin Walker Plant Services Ltd will have their new Kramer 8095T telescopic handler on show, which is 4×4 steer and has a 2.7T lift capacity and 40km/hr road speed.

Bainbridge Engineering will be at YAMS this February on stand B1. We will have our BRS- Bainbridge rotary sweeper, buckets and muckforks on display as well as a few other items. Come see us for a warm drink and a friendly chat about anything you may require!

One of the Highlights of this years show will be Andrew Wilkinson and his model of John Deere 6820 covered in Christmas lights

I have been kindly invited by the organisers of Yams to bring my full scale model of John Deere 6820 covered in Christmas lights. It was built for the Christmas period but things have moved on from then.

It's there on show day in a black out marquee to raise money for Cancer Research UK, so far throughout December it has raised £2600 and I am very much looking forward to seeing on what we can achieve on show day.

I have received sponsorship from my local John Deere dealer, RBM Agricultural of Market Weighton and they have gifted me a John Deere walk behind mower to raffle away on the day with all the money going to the good cause.

I also have received help from Sumo the local machinery manufacture, they have lent me front tractor weight block as a collection box for the show, I think its going to be an awesome day, something different for the show while raising money at the same time.
