May I ask a bit more background please? 3000t is an ENORMOUS amount of fert (£0.75m at £250/t! ) Do you store it on behalf of someone......or is your surname Dyson?

I doubt it, FIAS/hse rules don’t allow more than 1200t/site and that has to be in blocks of no more than 300t then a 1m gap to next block. Lose a lot of storage space, but thems the rules.

You can't store AN in bulk. Anyone who has left AN in a fertiliser hopper overnight will tell you what happens! Far too hygroscopic, not to mention the H&S implications.

I'd rather have 1t bags as they stack better but the hauliers prefer 600 kg to get the weight on a curtain sider.
