Presumably it would have to be taller bags. If they were a wider, so you could only fit 2 across the bed, they also couldn't fit as many rows down the bed, let alone the extra 4 rows (?) they'd need to compensate for the lack of width. They'd end up running round with lorries underweight, increasing haulage costs.

Depends on the year but usually a pallet of them. That's 40 bags for those who haven't had the pleasure.

On the plus side it might kill off some wag tails.

Why not just make it a tonne like urea? Even better make them reusable if they were serious about the environment

I wonder if bulk in blower wagons isn't the way forward? I know AN is fine in then open or in bulkers but urea is a bit too deliquescent.

Or go liquid and forget all that bilge. Bags, dust etc.

It’s one thing lifting them....but how will spreader sizes work? Most are now designed for a “standard” 600kg bag.
