Wednesday weather report Thursday dry chance of showers at night then good Friday. So everybody out mowing
Thursday morning 8.00am weather report showers coming in Thursday afternoon 2.00pm Friday showers and rain all weekend.
Well they weren't showers on Thursday afternoon it fookin hammered it down all afternoon and night. Grass mown everwhere and not sure when anyone will get it now.
Even weather forecasters apologised for not seeing that lot coming.

Where did you go on holiday abroad?

4 seasons: wet season, rainy season, monsoon season, and drizzly season. And we are in the "dry" east - another reason why I have no desire to go to anywhere more north than York, or more west than the M1. Must be properly wet in Scotland / Wales / Cornwall / lake District.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
