A few spots of rain here around 1pm, just a moderate breeze at the moment, if rain holds up it should help to dry the top of the clay soil a bit,?, quite a few acres of beet here abouts to be brought in? (Supposed to stay dry throughout the rest of day & into the night.

Got back picking spuds today going ok by 6pm only one got stuck and only half loading the trailers!

Had a walk through the wood....beautiful evening then as bobk said...someone turned the light out, now putting my feet up & having a ? or two in doors as the local was full of townies having their dinners, will be empty rest of week?

Doing nowt our way , one farm was harvesting tobacco , 73 acre field .... bet they were high as a kite when they'd finished
