Some bright spells this morning but cloud will increase from the west into the afternoon bringing showery rain spreading across the region, often merging into longer spells of rain. Heavy bursts at times could bring hourly rainfall totals of 10-15mm and the risk of the odd lightning strike. The band of showery rain will then gradually clear north-eastwards through the evening leading to a drier night with clear spells, although the odd isolated shower will linger overnight. 24hr rainfall totals are expected to reach 10-15mm widely, and up to 20-25mm locally across parts of Norfolk and towards The Wash bringing a risk of localised flooding.

Sunny spells tomorrow and scattered showers developing into the afternoon, these locally sharp with hourly rainfall totals reaching around 10mm alongside the risk of lightning. Showers will fade through the evening leading to a dry night with clear spells and some patchy mist and fog developing in places . A rather more settled picture developing into next week with sunny spells and temperatures into the low-to-mid 20s Celsius each day from Monday to Wednesday. The odd isolated shower will also be possible in the afternoons. Dry each night with mist and fog developing in places.
