The met office app says it’s raining here now. It isn’t.

Been raining here for the last hour……two hours after they said it would said it’s until 18:00 does that mean it will rain until 20:00 ?……never mind it’s suppose to rain all day tomorrow.

Woke up to no rain, went and did some cultivating until the heavens opened, still lashing it down now. There were tractors/balers/combines everywhere down here last night

Just looked on the webcam for Whitby harbour & it looks pretty dull
Got baler caught up with combine and I stopped and stacked them . Combine left out under a tree unfortunately

Big county, 560mm, since jan 1on my patch, but to be fair this August is one of the driest for many years, only 30mm here so far. 120mm+ last year, so we are due a dry one.

Drought here is pretty much over. Close to 80mm in the last 24hrs. Wheat looks sorry for itself but soybeans will be filling pods with the first real drink in two months. This has doubles our rain fall amounts since March

What a joke. 99 percent chance of rain (heavy rain) from lunchtime. Now changed to 40 pervent chance of shower. They're rubbish. Can't even forevast rain in UK!

Been drilling turnips all aft as there was only a bit of light rain at lunch. Caught the edge of a heavy shower which was enough to stop with 0.5ha to go but not a bad day considering it looked a right off
