been dry and windy 15 miles north of alnwick all day, just looked out the back door about 20mins ago and clear skies still dry and windy, but wintery showers forecast for down the coast tomorrow

2 inches of Snow in the garden and the kids succeeded in building a 6ft snowman.... Great quality according to 9yr old. Blowing a gale again so might be interesting in the morning.

Bit exciting here this morning, a bit like Munro walking on an exposed icey ridge when first went out, except no ice axe to arrest slide backwards... Few slates gone for a fly too
