Started with a hard frost here this morning but soon cleared to leave a bright sunny but cold day with nice clear blue sky, driving around the country lanes you would think it was a nice spring day until I stepped out of the Land Rover but still nice though & of course the crops would have been a bit further on. This evenings sky is clear with a "red sky at night"
& a big shiney moon, hope that red sky means it going to be the same again tomorrow.
I suppose that the readers of this forum will not care about the time they spend in the north of Castile ( Spain). Yesterday, 15 liters of water fell in the form of snow. Today a sunny and very cold day, it is ideal for the barley that we just sowed to germinate. They give a lot of snow for this next week
East Anglia today:
Any lingering rain across eastern parts should clear eastwards swiftly to leave a largely dry & bright morning. During the afternoon & evening , scattered sleet & snow showers are expected to stream in from the west. These could be on the heavy side at times, with hail mixed in. A slight covering of snow ( around 1cm) is possible across parts of east anglia from these showers, before they become increasingly scattered later & eventually peter out. A cold & mostly clear night will follow, with temperatures widely below zero. This will bring a significant risk of ice etc where any showers have fallen.
And that is your anglia forecast for the day..........have a nice day!!
