Felt like it was going to snow here this morning, cold wind is drying the yards up but grass isnt liking it. I hate to say it but we could do with a warm shower or two

A drop of warm rain would do the world of good !
Dig the garden for the OH this afternoon (with the mini digger ) it was rock hard !

I was just thinking that this rain in this 30mph NE wind could have been snow.
And then it was hail.
And I haven't got a hat on!

Wind a pain - trying to drill and bags want to blow away before they are completely empty and tractor doors nearly rip your arm off when opening. At least our soil wont blow!

Blowing a northerly gale now we are turning lambs out. Brother put out bales as windbreaks. Sand storm at the neighbours. Ours not quite moving yet but not far behind. Still nice and dry mainly.

Damp. Drizzling. Lord knows we need the rain but it's a bit depressing. It's what i imagine Scotland must be like, but there are no distilleries near by.

desperate for some nice warm rain, having been desperate for the rain to stop, now wanting it, beginning to see why people always think farmers moan.
Our stream, at the bottom of the garden, is well down in volume, after all the rain we have had, leaves me slightly concerned. Climate change, not sure, but climate has changed, in the short term, whether it's the global change, caused by man, not sure.
