78 mm so far this week in our normally very dry area and it hasn't stopped yet. 46mm one night and 14 mm last night plus another 13 and a 5.
We are now too wet and even the cattle are treading in grass.

Misty damp start here in Devon first thing this morning but as the day went on it’s turned nice with temp. getting up to 18 this afternoon with patchy cloud.

Strange these past few days, north east wind but rain keeps coming up from the south? Does that happen very often?

Relativly ( for mid June ) Cool because of a light N. Easterly but nonetheless a pleasant temp. and good growing weather.

All the time, it is an area of low pressure that brings the rain not the wind as such, imagine a low pressure system traveling due north up the north sea, UK gets a northerly but Europe gets a more southerly wind due to air going anticlockwise round a low pressure system.

Could do with a drop or three of rain now. Been overcast last few days, only had 7mm of rain since the begining of the month, and all of that was on the first week. Forecast not looking good for rain either
