Huge thunderstorm here 3am, seemed to go on for ages, was still flashing and banging at 4am, friend next door text and said he had 65mm and agronomist who lives circa 7 miles away had 80mm, yet to check mine! Should get the weeds growing!

I feel Like I got away with yesterday. Only a bit of damage and some mud on lanes to clear. But the 48 acres of ground is worked to sow grass have somehow nearly escaped damage.

Huge volume of water has gone over the farm. By my recokoning there approx 120k tonnes of water fallen on it.
