Boinino zero-grazer, tried to upload pic, but pic from iPhone is too big of a file
Hopefully will be out everyday as long as this dry spell continues, plenty of grass, ground closed off in October
good way of stretching the silage

we have another clamp to open up of second cut and then 400 square baled silage, might not need to zero graze this year, lol

Does anyone know of a 3m approx plain front drum mower for sale. the only places i can find second hand are agriaffaires and they are all over the water. I have a claas moco but in short grass it tends to push the grass over rather than a clean cut. I'd like to start now but i know it's hardly tall enough to do yet with my mower. tempted to stick a fence up and let them out for a couple hours.
remarkable how the ground is cracking with a few days dry weather.

cowpat, how long have you had the bonino? do you zero graze all summer or just use it to extend the grazing season? sheep only off here so no sort of grazing here til mid april. like the zero grazing option as it would allow me to use land away from home. if its not a cheeky question roughly how much did the machine cost and who are the agents over here? sorry for all the questions but with silage and meal becoming so expensive would like to increase the amount of grass we feed.

Have the the zero grazer 4 years now, think it cost around €26,000 from Niall o'reilly @ zero grazer.ie, think they have nearly doubled in price since :(
Feeding roughly 20 kgs/cow high yielders and low yielders. Will continue as long as its dry, great way of stretching the silage, will take another day or 2 to see any affect on yields but looks promising already
And yes I ZG all year as long as the weather lets me

Well i've done some today!!
