Zetor PTO and hydraulics?

On a zetor 6211 I’ve purchased when the pto is off the lift arms don’t work, how can I set it where the lift arms work when the pto is off, I put the pto lever forward as far as possible which is recommended in a YouTube video to only engage hydraulics but the pto shaft was still going slowly. Also when engaging the pto when the tractor is on it does a lot of grinding so I just turn the tractor off and engage it then start it up again, saves all the grinding, why does it do this grinding? Is this easily fixed?

I havent ever had a 6211 , but did have a 4911 , from a previous range.
There were 2 "handbrake " levers on the floor . 1 was the handbrake , the other a hand clutch , for the PTO. You need to pull that up to engage the PTO drive . Then let it off gently to engage drive .
There were 2 little levers on the floor , 1 for hi and low range gears . The other , for ground drive , neutral, 540 and 1000 rpm pto.
Experiment to find which your hydraulics will work on . PTO shaft does need to " creeping " for hydraulics to work .
Hope some of this helps you .

On your model you'll have a backwards facing "handbrake" lever down the left hand side of the seat, this is your pto clutch. On the floor you'll have two levers, the left hand one is high and low range and the right hand one is pto select. Pull the "handbrake" up and then move the lever to engage pto and then slowly release the "handbrake".

From memory right forward so the lever is almost flat with the floor is hydraulics, then theres a neutrak for everything and then bring it up for pto and then again to near vertical and itll be in ground speed pto. The centre lever which moves left to right Is 540/n/1000.

The pto will creep all the time but will have not resistance on it.

Its possible your not putting the lever far enough forward and are in neutral and not hydraulics.

I used to use a 7011 on a teagle straw chopper, start in 540 then change up to 1000 to get more blow and use your heal to disengage the pto on over run, that tractor went and went.
