Yes, you can spin the middle two rotors round but we only just found that out a couple of days agoThat's going back a bit?
Think transport or working lock/tracking bar possibly.
Can you spin the rotors round to do one row or 3 rows if I remember.
Watch you don't buckle rotor hoops as very rare now as lot smaller than old or more modern haybobs alsoYes, you can spin the middle two rotors round but we only just found that out a couple of days ago
Any instructions as to how it locks in as it doesn’t appear obvious to usAs already said it's the transport lock. Just make sure it's definitely locked in when the outside 2 rotors are folded right in or it can swing around put a tine or 2 through your back tyre
Not today, the weather is horrendous here on the coast in Cumbria - incredibly windy with heavy rain, hasn’t stopped since early this morningGet a few photos on here and we may have some inspirational flash backs possibly???
Thanks for that, it is incredibly windy with heavy rain at the moment and the hay bob is outside so we’ll check it out once the drier weather arrivesOn the underside of that bar at the back it's shaped to fit over the frame below it. When you lift the machine the middle 2 rotors should drop through the frame a couple inches and pull the bar down with them and when central it should drop completely over the frame to stop sideways movement. But if it doesn't quite drop completely it can still slide sideways, not really a problem in work just when folded up. Then when you drop the machine down the middle rotors should push up through the frame, pushing the bar up and clear and unlocking again.
I relayed your post to my son and he says it makes perfect sense to him and thanks you for the instructions - he says that’s a massive helpOn the underside of that bar at the back it's shaped to fit over the frame below it.
