Drill logistics trailer

Looks very good but I think you may have issues with those tyres was combining for a customer last week he had super single on his imacalute trailers but they were doing a lot of damage to the ground I so pose you'll just have to be careful where you take it park it

Ground that has been DD for a year or two doesnt suffer from wheelings in the same way as cultivated ground

with tyres like that it will never go on a field, super singles are strictly for the road and tracks here ! drill comes to the trailer, the idea is I don't want to tie up another tractor or loader in the field so this gets parked up and left with the drill for the day as a self contained unit - auger is powered from hydraulic connection by the drill hopper fed from the drill tractor

I've often pondered doing the same but just with a flatbed with HIAB, the HIAB being powered by the drilling tractors hydraulics

we used to have a HIAB on a trailer for that purpose, most used when we grew potatoes years back but also filled the drill, had its own engine which was a bit of a bugger to start, tractor hydraulics struggle to power HIAB I recall ?

reason we have gone with a hoper is I want to get away from the faff of bagging seed, especially now we use so much of our own and clean and dress it ourselves etc

What's the chosen colour? I think western orange looks smart, not a fan of the trailer paint work matching the tractor, I like a bit of contrast

Imagination failure resulted in us deciding collectively on making it match the drill

will get some pics of the trailer later but here is a preview of a bit of it !

it won't mach any tractors we have, just clash nicely with Fendt green !

Looks good. Shame about the colour!

What way have you worked the split hopper? Would it be possible to have a pic or 2 of it? Have the same bin and may split the bin in the future.
