Really useful day on getting the best out of the drill with lots of useful tips. Good to meet some new folk as well and swap notes. Thanks Simon and I hope the M25 was less traumatic on the way home!
We'd like to go on one of your 750a courses, when and where would your jan/Feb courses be?I have been asked to do some more courses. If you are interested in attending one please pm me your details including your real name ( you'd be surprised what confusion it creates ) and your location/address. I am thinking about doing them between mid Nov to end of Feb so if you have a time that you can't attend please let me know. If you have a drill and wish to host a course then please also include that info. If they are as popular as last year I'll try and arrange them around to country in fairly local groups.

Thanks for a great day yesterday Simon, I found it really worthwhile( yet again) and also thank Mrs Chiles for those fantastic brownies, hope you got home eventually with the problems on the m6 last night
I to would like to thank Simon for yesterday, very worthwhile, and I would also like to thank @parker for hosting the event and letting us greenhorns wander around his very good crops.
As for the m6, the less said the better, even going north it was a car park.
Thanks Clive for showing us the light last month and your time, money in the post!!! (though did think you had fallen over and banged your head when i saw" pimp my drill part 2")reckon JD should put me and Simon on commission ! (actually no thanks !)
Fantastic day. Just need to work an inexpensive way to add some weight to the guttler.
Standard closing wheel 7.3kg & guttler 5.3kg.
How much to add, just 2kg to bring up to standard weight or more?
I don't think it's quite that easy, I have a design on the drawing board in my head and just working on the calculations to ascertain the weight. Hopefully have a solution soon.
Have you seen the guttler weigths on @Bob lincs JD750? I think i've seen a picture of them here on TFF.Maybe, but I don't think it would need to be too complicated a solution. It got me thinking, and I have a couple of ideas but keep us informed of yours.
