We charge £80 per half, £150 whole, all ready jointed and vac packed. We only sold about a dozen in our first year, last year, but we've never had someone ask and not place an order. We assume from that folks are happy with the price.
Yeah that's standard butchering. It cost £25 at our local Slaughtethouse for killing and butcheringthats in ready to cook joints etc I assume ? whats the cost of getting it butchered and jointed etc ?
That's what I cost it at as well or there about and charge about the same as this guy. It's about £17 kill etc. I butcher and pack in house add in all the other associate costs about £25-£30. Would be charging similar price to others said also but charge by the kg instead. Cheaper for whole than half but I'm only just starting up the last few years so only doing a few.Yeah that's standard butchering. It cost £25 at our local Slaughtethouse for killing and butchering
I do them at £140 whole lamb and £75 for half.
Kill cut hang and pack is £26 for me.
Delivery on top.
You have to know your costs Guth!A good profit margin for a 43 kilo lamb that is only worth £80 at a supermarket plant!
