Frame stripped, furrow width mechanism moved to the right hand side of the headstock, then had to build one worn mouldboard up with weld. 2 of them were very badly worn on the leading edge, so repaired those with a bit of jiggery pokery, one needed a new tail as well, its not as ive its going to do a 1000 acres a year, so wear on the softer steel shouldnt really be an issue, welded it with stick welder and as low heat as i could get away with, to try and avoid heating the board up too much. Pleased with how they look tbh
Made a new top strut for the headstock, yes i know it should be round tube, but i had an excess of flat bar in stock, so may as well use it, i can make a tube strut if and when i happen across a bit of tube
didnt fancy forking out for a full set of decent YL183s, hence spending a day repairing what i have...
Got it all back together, not happy with the alginment of it, so took frogs off tongiht and will investigate more tommorrow with the tape measure
