We do get our share of frost. Normally cope ok, but that year i think it was -15 for ten days
I think Shawbury in Shropshire has frequently recorded some of the lowest temperatures in England. Being in a frost hollow can also make a massive difference - we are often several degrees colder than a mile up the road.Frost in Shropshire?
Lagging?

-12 look out the pick-axe ready to dig down and unfreeze the mains, (not much use when Scottish Water haven't thawed the supply at the reservoir)
