nice mod, did you do that yourself?EX 60 thats just been kitted out for timber play time by me and me mateView attachment 459304
Yes we done it our self's but it took a couple of days. My mates on about putting a hitch on the blade for forwarding timber with a trailer now as he has a small forwarding trailer on ballon tyres ex slurry Tanka'snice mod, did you do that yourself?
that be a handy tool in the forests.
do you always load digger to front of trailer?
We had this problem on our kubota kh 191, can't exactly remember what we did , but we took the joysticks to bits and there were small brass gauges on some of the oil pipes , they were chocked , sorry can't remember exactly which pipes but it certainly cured ours.
More likely to be pilot oil operated that's how they usually work, I'd be tempted to try streatching your arm right out and put it on the ground disconnect the pipes of the ram and blank them all of including the ram, then lift your boom up and see if the dipper still swings in that would point you in the right direction whether the problem is the ram or in the valve blockI think the joysticks are electric, pulling open solenoids on the valve block?

Yep that's it had to do the seals on our kubouta this year but that was only creeping slowly but if the piston comes unscrewed of the rod it can let oil leak past it quite badYeah you may be right, when I got it the pilot oil filter was filthy. It was an ex-hire machine. We bought it intending to use it for 12 months. It's so useful it's staying and I'm gradually going round repairing window catches and so on that, all the bits hire firms ignore.
Your thinking being if the ram is blanked off on both outlets then the dipper arm should stay up in the air, and if it sinks the internal ram seals are leaking?
I have a grab on our ex60, but the rotator and extra reach be really handy.Yes we done it our self's but it took a couple of days. My mates on about putting a hitch on the blade for forwarding timber with a trailer now as he has a small forwarding trailer on ballon tyres ex slurry Tanka's
First time he's loaded the digger as borrowed the plant trailer but the digger fits snug between headboard side rails for extra safety but it squats the back tyres alot tho
We looked at the reach and decided immediately that loading a fire with tops and stacking timber there was simply not enough reach as everything was close to the cab and it was best to rectify while fitting the grab. I guess the bucket could be refitted in 15 minutes with 2 people easyI have a grab on our ex60, but the rotator and extra reach be really handy.
I have often thought about fitting a hitch to it, be handy to tow a trailer for timber extraction, boulder clearing and fenceing.
I wouldn't like to tow a lowloader only loaded at the front like that as front only supported with the narrow hitch ring, better on top of trailer wheel just forward enough to put some weight on tractor, much more stable

Sorry not great pictures
Are you moving that 330 on a tractor and trailer ? Looks like yo have it long way back to keep the drawbar loading down a bit
I bet that can get interesting
