Really! I'd have been happy if my texels out of mules made that kind of money! How were yours breed?

I know they're too heavy
one pen were out of mules the rest were 3/4 texel the £100 one was beltex x char

Considering they were massively over weight you should be happy with that trade! Lambs are 160-170 in spec remember

Without being big headed they were tremendously well shaped..was hoping for over £90

I guess you are about £10 head down on the year which I about right as all weights are down about this currently.

Reality is the sheep price is diabolically and unsustainable far too low.

And just to cheer you up iv been told that at least one beef company is dropping the cattle price next week!

I think there a real shortage off beef fullstop.today a man had bought 26 cull cows in Gisburn to go kill at a plant in ireland

There is a hell of a demand for mince thus why cull cows and Fri steers are in such demand.

Spoke to cow buyer on Friday phoned me yesterday cow's away and killed today so must be scarce
