Milk Price Tracker

Talk of the meeting lastnite was carl(yew tree) been talking to a farmer tell him his dryers full come spring, reckons he'll be able to buy milk in for 5pltr come spring. And also a lot of farmers will b forced to sell up by the banks this time.also feed company's are really trying to put pressure on people to catch up on payments
He's normally more positive than that (Carl woodcock) isn't he
He's the only one who said Milk spot price would be flying by October just gone

Yes he is top bloke but his current prediction is clearly not very inspiring
Yep! The thing they were on about lastnite about the banks etc, something to do with last year the difference between cow price/barren was worth the chance (£150s average) this time they reckon (£350s average) and the banks arnt happy with the difference this time .

Will lactillis be able to hold at 27.5p till Dec ?

sorry endeavour not sure who the question was aimed at but currently the market is not over supplied it is in balance. futures are up in feb. European production is not charging ahead like last yr for example France, Europes second largest producer is 4% down.

if there is going to be a shortage from sept-feb , why not put 1000 cows on for the winter
tell mr woodcock he can have 30,000l a day for six months when he needs it for 30ppl flat rate , then sell them
he can then buy his cheap milk through the spring and the cycle goes on

5ppl profit ?
250k profit , not bad for 6 months work
