Potato market never makes sense to me. A couple of months ago, uk was exporting processing/frying potatoes to europe because they were short. Now they are importing them back!

Loads of piper up this way at a big discount to prices you quote. Not hard to warm them up and make them fry.

Sigh reading the prices others are getting. Thing's are picking up tho and I think I'll sell right out now. One says they are bruised but fry lovely other days the opposite, the joys. Bought the price back and suddenly all good again

Nah! A tight market was known pre Christmas, so extra (tonnage) of early imports would have been organised. Two months left at best.

Have been offered 330 on Markies for next week. Have heard also of 360 locally for Agria. What are you being offered?

I'm just looking to see how it really is now. I was done mid January finished on 300. So there hasn't been a lot of movement in 10 weeks.

Was on £240 a couple of weeks ago for packing piper, was offered £200 yesterday.

Can't do them quick enough here, and want to start planting. Easter always the busiest time here I reckon what with spraying,planting and bagging up. £340 Agria,£310 piper unchanged this wk.
