Wouldn't surprise me. There's some farmers getting a bit worried thinking the price was going to get very strong and holding onto big stocks

It is, some terrible gulleys on some fields that block roads but scrape it up and take it to the top of the slope again. They spread a pea and vetch seed mix into the standing crop just prior to harvesting, so the act of harvesting covers the seed. This cover crop helps keep the soil there. Continuous spuds.

Is French seed now commonplace? Always thought it was Dutch or Scottish? Big grower near me using French Markies atm, never seen them before so thought I'd ask.
