As per title, I assume many of you have used it, how effective did you find it to be?
+ 1Very effective
guessThe first question is, what do you want it to affect?
full protective gear was worn, I'm just finished. It's very effective at giving me a bloody headache. Don't apply it stood in the race wearing shorts...
Dad was spraying ectofly about a few weeks ago, made me feel rough for a couple of daysIt's very effective at giving me a bloody headache. Don't apply it stood in the race wearing shorts...
Ticks and lice?guess
no fly strike(the main use I would assume)Ticks and lice?
Ticks and lice would be the main use for Crovect IMO. It wouldn't be my first choice for blowfly but it will last up to 6 wks if applied correctly.no fly strike(the main use I would assume)
What would you use for short withdrawal @GTB ?Ticks and lice would be the main use for Crovect IMO. It wouldn't be my first choice for blowfly but it will last up to 6 wks if applied correctly.
Crovect is fine for short withdrawal and shorter cover but it's cheaper and better to apply Clik once than Crovect twice. Unless ticks or lice are a problem obviously. What would you use for short withdrawal @GTB ?
we were looking for something for fly strike with a short withdrawal, we'll have a good few ready to go at weaning in a couple of weeks time. We really should have done them with clik long ago but it didn't happen, I noticed a lamb struck on Sunday so action needed to be taken. My father returned from the vets with crovect, this led to the question since we'd never used it before.Crovect is fine for short withdrawal and shorter cover but it's cheaper and better to apply Clik once than Crovect twice. Wash your protective gear with fairy liquid, or it will fall to pieces.full protective gear was worn, I'm just finished.
