Just scraped over the minimum spend amount with little things, which had a lot of points when all added up

Be pretty hard to get to the full £30k spend for a lot of farms, we calculated we would have to buy loads of (unnecessary) stuff to get the full £12k grant. Also the more stuff brought will dilute the points and reduce the chance of acceptance If there are a lot of applicants.

I should imagine so, just looked on their events diary and they are holding more farming for the future roadshows throughout Wales in September. You had to book a place last time, the one I attended in Porthmadog had about 400 people inside and 50 farmers waiting outside on the off chance that some farmers would not turn up and they could take their place, it didn't help matters that some who already had a place had bought the whole family with them! Grandfather, father, mother, and son/daughter
