Well just to buck the trend...... We've had the best summer for years!
We're overwhelmingly a dry farm (had 4 burnt to a crisp summers in a row since last "wet" summer), even this summer was looking very dodgy with it being so dry through March April &may, no Fert went on til June.
Since then we've had just enough rain to keep the grass moving, in fact I've not seen this much grass in august for years...... &it's green rather than burnt brown!
Other farm 15 miles inland.......is another story though
