I failed to retain staff today

If a worker doesn't want to do a job whether it's tidy up rat crap or drive the 3 year old fendt instead of the new one he has a choice take it or leave it ,so does the employer .if said worker can go through life without having to do the 'shitty ' jobs well done !! I'm sorry most people have at some time to do what they are told .apart obviously apart from the wean on that feral programme last night .oh give me strength
Some don't want to handle a brush or shovel crap

How did you get on at the tribunal?
whats one of them, how do they work? they would be told the same as any one if i pay a man to do a days work that is what i expect, if they want to pick and choose thats their choice, they can pick to do what they are payed for or choose to go home end of chat

It was a tongue in cheek comment but a lot of chaps would have had you hauled through a tribunal. No written warning etc etc. I agree with your sentiments though.

I once caught 2 young wild oat roguers filling their bags from a neighbouring field of oats and not doing the job.
I spat the dummy and savked them.
Got a visit from dad and the polis

Were the police to investigate their fraud?

That's what they were doing!

I pointed that out to some of the EA manual staff I knew who were putting in timesheets for jobs they hadn't done - It's fraud. Grounds for instant dismissal followed by prosecution.
