I`ll think you`ll find the type that sit at home on benefits will always do so regardless of what work is available or whatever the pay rate is, all countries have that type , where there`s no benefits they live off crime . Go to London and see how many Rumanian`s and Bulgarians there are without work or benefits , crime is how they survive.
There are however millions of Brits who are on minimum or very low incomes who work hard but would rather go home to their families every night rather than live in a caravan with a load of hairy a*sed workers and maybe see the family once a month, why wouldn't you if you have a choice?
I agree Britain is far to soft with the benefits system but we all need to remember that many farmers and farmer workers depend of tax credits and family allowance, how many farmers with young families here dont draw benefits ?
Absolutely agree.
The influx of cheap labour in 2004 has pushed up competition for land and housing, and has helped to drive family businesses to the wall.
General wages have been depressed as a result.
Huge profits have been made from soft fruit, spuds etc etc, they are paying record rents, but that may change now.

All tax credits do is suppress wages , and those with nothing to claim for have to do the same work for less money. Are you saying that’s fair ?
Not fair for the single man/woman is it ? or should they contribute to the generation that will be paying their pension and feeding them soup through a straw in the p**s stained retirement home?
