I’m number 334. Had never been on a forum before, and just by chance had been trying unsuccessfully to join the BFF.Answers on a post card please.

#206 Here.
If you look at the early threads you will see that there are a lot of posters who are still New Members.
@jim #3 six posts on day 1,
@dermot #11 two posts day 1,
@mario #22 five posts day 1,
@come along #37 six posts day 1,
@Mongoose #34 8 posts day1,
etc, etc. This is just a little legitimate subterfuge from Admin and his helpers getting the ball rolling
yes bit obvious naming someone after a well known machinery makerI think that that @Philip Watkins #10 must be the figment of someones imagination judging by the nonsense posts.........
Couple reasons getting married and little one so time and priorities changed, don’t know why but feel it’s changed on here.I’m number 334. Had never been on a forum before, and just by chance had been trying unsuccessfully to join the BFF.
Used to post a rediculous amount , but seem to have lost a bit of interest lately, and it’s amazing how many of the folks that I seem to chat to on here , also are now largely absent at posting much. I think a lot of people have now become friends on Facebook etc.
Just off the top of my head. @fingermouse , @stuart , @Steakeater , @General-Lee , @YorkshireAndrew @Dan7626, @Flossie to name a few.

You won't get your own number by quoting someone else, unless they have tagged you.quote your own or someone elses message
to find out their member numberYou won't get your own number by quoting someone else, unless they have tagged you.
people come and go from forums for all sorts of reasons, repetition, life changes, fallout, even death ! many good reasons
It's the natural evolution of things, and reflects life in general really, many that were once big posters no longer are, equally new members post more instead. The traffic levels, new member sign up rates and level of posting are still growing as they always have however, nothing is dying it's just changing and that wil never stop
some of us can accept change better than others
