New members joining all the time, added another 44 since the thread started!

No surprise really when you consider the enormous amount of shared experience and information on here on just about anything ag related
Its a great resource but some are very dismissive of others views, that can be off putting for some im sure, nothing wrong in having strong opinions as long as others are allowed theirs too, friendly debate is good

yeah but how many are actually active??there can't be much more than 500 members per week contributing to threads

just did a quick search and this is how many of the 30k members have visited in the last month, member traffic is actulaty a small proportion vs none logged in 'guest' traffic,

is that 8k members a month?

guest traffic imo wont make a forum:unsure: it needs regular contributions

TFF is not short of content, if anything i often feel its got too busy to keep up with and I know that does put some off

I agree it would be great for more guests to sign up though and post rather than just read, many do eventually

I will often look at forums for information. Computer ones quite often for help with problems.
Land rover one recently to find how to fit a part. Shooting one recently.
Loads do it. I noticed on one that's its quite often the same few posters active. Similar to here.

I think a problem is being suggested here that doesn't really exist.
For me the problem is far too many new posts for me to look at. So I am often selective and unfortunately miss interesting stuff.
A lot of posts are repetitive as we have been over and over the item time and again! Like brexit. I just don't look at anything now. So often regular posters just don't get involved due to that.

A few more pickup truck topics would get people involved.

We have had an average of 600 people become members a month for the past 4 years. Its stays remarkable static, so there are always new contributors joining. But for every 1 that is a member, there are another 10 that just read. But then for every teacher, there are generally 30 students.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
