In this case at least, no harm came to the tractor as far as we can tell..Looking on FB, as I do, there seem to be a disproportionate number of Fendts coming to grief on roundabouts. Either there's a design fault with these tractors, or they're dick head magnates.
Too much more of this, and agricultural vehicles will be banned from public highways. No skin of my nose.
Welded ours, just a small bit of steel that can be buzzed through with the angle grinder, and welded up again. As far as I am aware the dolly has to be permanently fixed to the trailer. Not sure how that is done other than bolting the release handle. Still needs to be removable for maintenance (lubrication!)

It’s all in the handshakeSlap on the wrist according to an earlier post! I am I have to say, quite gobsmacked!!
Most Traffic Officers would have been rubbing their hands with glee on this one... High profile warning prosecution....

It isn't always a Fendt. The tractor in this thread was not to blame whatsoever. The tool operating it was to blame.A couple of points, joking aside, why is it always a Fendt ? Fastracs are designed for fast road work, Fendts ain't. Can't say I've seen a JCB having a corner mishap on FB. Should Fendts ( and all other tractors ) be limited to 40k ?
.
You'd think that the resident tools would be given an old 7610, rather than the most expensive tractor money can buy......It isn't always a Fendt. The tractor in this thread was not to blame whatsoever. The tool operating it was to blame.

Would the trailer have tipped as readily had it been a conventional, unbalanced trailer?
I was sent the picture this morning apparently a tyre blew out?Yes I pulled him back over
Someone could have very easily have been killed had they been following the first outfit though. Cyclist/motorcyclist would be creamed, I think even a car would have been flattened under that lot. Nasty accident. I personally would not have driven around that roundabout that fast with so much as a grain trailer.
not tried that, have found that if you get close behind them in the lanes they will pull over and let you pastThose new Audis- they don't have indicators. Instead, if you pull out in front of them at roundabouts, I find they automatically come to a stop. Works wonders.
