Why are you ploughing that?!

Was waiting for someone to ask that, field boundary change, drilling winter barley after spring barley, also the pictures were taken where the field caught fire earlier this year.

Looked like this further over(y)

Nick...

Same here. I was getting riled and jumping up and down this morning because I've got sh!t loads to do and can't. Dad reminded me that the rain will do more good than I can and it's batter to be wet on a Sunday so everyone can enjoy a day of rather than in the week when we want to get on.

A few pics from the last week

Finished the muck spreader rebuild. It's not a job that should be done this time of year but we had to bite the bullet and do it. I'd much rather have been tucked up in the shed doing it in dec/Jan.

Truth be told I'm feeling a bit behind, I haven't drilled anything yet. I've got some land worked down ready to drill though but have still got plenty of muck to spread before ploughing. We're like you @Nick we've been waiting for rain, the rape I disced yesterday was powder in places 2 inches down.
