Do you lock your doors at night

A primary school in Cornwall (no, I didn't think so, either) had their Heating oil nicked over the weekend when someone drained the tank.

Shame

Then I read that exactly the same thing happened at the same school last weekend!

Well, if the people running the school are unable to learn, what chance have the kids got?

To be fair there would be some problem traveller camps just down the road.

We never unlock the front door and have to collies who live around the back that will make a mess of anyone that tries to enter.
Just last week I woke up to the dogs going mad and someone trying to brake into my truck.
In the past year we have had the farm building broken into 4 times and the garden shed done over.
It would be lovely to live somewhere that you don't have to lock the door.

Just about every theft crime would seize to happen in this country if the politicians adopted the attitude of their best friends located in Saudi Arabia, cut the hands off anyone caught stealing. I bet millions of people in this country would support that, especially farmers and tradesmen who have had their vans done over.

We have an excellent benefits system in this country, there is no excuse for anyone to steal off hard working people.

Fuc37s drilled through one of our wagon diesel tanks and took all the diesel ending up with a bill of over £1500 for repairs.

These people come in 3’s or 4’s burst into your home give everyone a roughing up regardless of age or gender tie everyone up then set about you and your family they don’t care much get what they can leave you battened and beaten tied up and leave you mask on etc no clues to who they are
Best thing is to have a loaded shotgun by your side

About 20 years ago, I came in for lunch and found 3 young men inside the back porch and at the back door which was locked. When I challenged them, one of them said that they just wanted to know the way to Frome. I gave them directions and the left hurriedly and I heard their car rush away in the opposite direction to that which I had given them. Just as well that the door was locked.

Mrs LS grew up as a townie, although I have educated her pretty well by now. However she still locks the door even if she is just doing some gardening.

I generally check all the doors before bed as the kids have a habit of going in and out, haven’t got them trained yet.

We don’t tend to draw the curtains and I can often in the evening be found wandering around starkers after stripping off for a shower.

The neighbours haven’t complained yet........but they tend to be sheep.:D
Do park tractor in shed at night
