@Brisel had you done anything to the stubble in the autumn? Was the residue baled? It certainly looks a better design than the older version I have demoed in the past.
Spring oats sown after spring barley. Straw baled & a cover crop broadcast into the standing barley crop in late July which didn't take that well, so not much in the way of residue left. This one was the show stand machine & is a couple of years old - the newer ones have a few tweaks but only on the frame, not the coulters.
He needs to weight it properly, and possibly look at duals. If you're scrabbling the wheelmarks will be poor.

The 724 on my demo needed some cast iron. Any kind of slope and the tyres were scrabbling a bit too much for my liking. Wheel slip on no till causes the worst kind of surface compaction IMO.
