Definitely makes a huge difference in a dry year, if I never need to cut silage off my land again I'll be happy.No. It would be a big pile of grass for half a ton to be put over the side?
Don't mind the odd small bit of grain spilt, its something for birds and other wildlife to eat.
Cattle won't tidy up spilt grain though.
@Kiwi Pete had some silage left on ground where chopper man missed and regrowth much better.
So no i won't get my knickers in a twist over some silage missing the trailer.
