cutting some about 5 miles away from base slow going as surrounded by trees fallen branches laid bits and damp but now should improve as headlands and awkward corners finished as these will need drying rest should be ok now

So who want to predict what the new world record is going to be ?

Surely this has to be the year it get broken ?

If only I'd used that Delta stuff I'd be doing the extra happy dance. This is a fair way off my best yield which was 2015 after a six year break from wheat. Yields are high here but not spectacular. Just consistent over all the land.

Grain down to 13 percent. Straw being smashed to bits.

we are at mid 14's now - perfect

I'm dryer driving and already planning how we can modify store conveyor system to make life easier ( less grain pushing) and get more into the store (so much height seems wasted)

Been one of those days cut a bit but lunched the chopper belt and blocked the combine up so lost an hour there and a few other little things. Cutting some bit of wheat I left for seed corn then calling it a day as had enough and will go to the last 10 acres of wheat tomorrow

Under 15% now , the drier it gets the shittier it gets , I look like I've had 12 hours on an old bagging combine ffs , no breakdowns just sh!t and dust everywhere . I hate farming .

See I was spot on. Clive would be thinking on how to spent it all.

I once saw a system at HR Bourne’s that was very good.
So one conveyer down the side of shed ( ie long ways ) then one under it ( short ways ) on rails. The short conveyor has an open bottom so the grain drops in, till it rises to the conveyor. Then moves across the building till it’s full. Then the conveyer moves forward either on a sensor or manual on a hand held.
The result is a shed loaded from above with no compaction, perfectly level to the base of the cross conveyor.

Would be top job in your set up if you used above floor round ducting. But not for pedestals.

At Bourns they had below floor vents.

It could work well for you.
