We have had a horrible day 2000 small bales of hay done and 50 rounds feel cream crackered
The chap I buy my straw off was very apologetic about the straw this year, brittle & not golden colour but my thinking is that it will make better bedding & more in a bale.

Balers were on into the night around here but we only had a scud at 11ish this morning and the combines and balers are going again

load of oat straw in today, very heavy bales, 3 to a ton, bit brittle, but really packed in, should be great in the cubicles, our dealer has now finished his requirements !
Is this a price tracker cause there’s very few prices on here

£70 delivered, didn't hit us last year, so if he's a few £ dearer this year, no problem, I expect I paid £25 less than a lot last year. he has to make a profit, as does the farmer who combines the crop, get a good relation ship going, and should all work 1 year with another to even out.
