I’m a bit lost on where values will be too?
Gimmer lambs at Middleton were very cheap so I’ve been told
They shouldnt be much dearer than last year...if any....a lot of mule gimmer averages will be down this time, all depends on peoples mindset....last year mule gimmers were a big lump down so people were very depressed going into the ewe sales.

No,never thought i would see the day it was a buyers market,we kept being told there werent plenty around the previous few years when they were very dear....but there were plenty to satisfy demand last year.
Previous bad winter, dear feed, drought lack of fodder I suppose there are a few reasons. I wonder how people view things as of now? Don’t think there’s any more money about

Just wondering what trade blackie draft ewes might be on Friday. Not looking for top end types
If you don't want top types then Dalmally is usually the place to go for a bit of value. The ewes there are usually off harder, wetter hills than the ewes that go through Stirling and Lanark. This means that the middle ground ewes downward, can often be got at cheaper money. Plus, it's a huge sale with a massive choice. Plus, it's a great place to visit, especially if you're lucky enough to get a good day for the drive.

If you don't get fixed up, there's always Stirling on the Saturday, but that shouldn't be needed.
